Privacy Policy

TicketKaro (“we”, “us”, “Platform”) is operated by DANGO Solutions, based in Pakistan. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use the TicketKaro website and mobile application.

By using the Platform you consent to the practices described herein. If you do not agree, discontinue use.

1. Information We Collect

• Identity & Contact: Full name, CNIC, email address, phone number.
• Credentials: Passwords stored as secure hashes — never in plain text.
• Payment Data: The payment method you chose and the reference returned by the payment provider. Card and wallet details are entered with, and held by, our licensed payment partners — they are never stored on TicketKaro servers.
• Transaction Records: Ticket purchases, stall bookings, order history, wallet transactions, and refunds.
• Technical Data: IP address, browser and device fingerprint, session identifiers.
• Event Data: Check-in records, seat assignments, queue entries.

2. Social Sign-In (Google & Facebook)

When you sign in using Google or Facebook, TicketKaro receives only your name, email address, and profile photo from the respective provider. We do not access your password, contacts, posts, or any other data.

Our use of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Facebook Login is provided through Meta’s Facebook Login product and is subject to Meta’s Data Policy.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Issuing digital tickets and generating QR codes for event entry.
• Processing stall booking applications and payments.
• Managing your account, verifying identity, and detecting fraud.
• Sending transactional emails and SMS messages (booking confirmations, OTPs, ticket receipts).
• Sending event notifications — you may opt out in Account Settings.
• Meeting our legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations in Pakistan.

4. Sharing of Your Information

Event Organisers	Name, email, phone, and CNIC for attendance management and gate control.
Payment Partners	Licensed banks and payment providers — only what is needed to process or verify your transaction. The available providers are shown to you at checkout.
Delivery Partners	SMS and email providers receive your contact details to deliver notifications.

We never sell your personal information to advertisers or third parties.

5. Data Retention

• Account data is retained until a deletion request is submitted. Accounts with outstanding financial obligations cannot be deleted until resolved.
• Transaction and tax records are kept for up to 6 years to meet Pakistani tax record-keeping requirements, then deleted.
• Operational logs (such as email delivery logs) are purged periodically and are not kept longer than we need them.

6. Cookies & Tracking

TicketKaro uses session cookies to maintain your login state. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. Disabling cookies may impair Platform functionality.

7. Your Rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time through our Help Centre, using the account you are asking about. We aim to respond as quickly as we reasonably can. Records we are required to keep (see Data Retention) are excluded from deletion.

8. Children

The Platform is not directed at individuals under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. Some events set their own age restrictions, which the organiser enforces.

9. Security

We use encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and payment handling by licensed partners. No online service can be completely secure; we use reasonable measures to protect your information but cannot guarantee it against every risk.

10. Governing Law

This Policy is governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. For privacy inquiries contact: support@dango.pk.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page and applies from the date it is posted. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance.
