This agreement is between you (the “Organizer”) and TicketKaro, a project of DANGO. It governs your use of TicketKaro to sell tickets and collect payment for your events. Please read it in full — you are asked to accept it before your application is reviewed.
TicketKaro acts as an authorised ticketing and payment-collection agent for the Organizer. The contract for attendance at an event is between the ticket holder and the Organizer. TicketKaro is not the promoter, producer or operator of any event listed on the platform and does not warrant that an event will take place as advertised.
The Organizer warrants that it has the legal right, permissions, venue booking and regulatory approvals (including any NOC required by the district administration) necessary to hold the event as advertised, and that all information supplied to TicketKaro is accurate. The Organizer is solely responsible for delivering the event and for all refunds arising from cancellation, postponement, material change or non-performance.
The Organizer shall indemnify and hold TicketKaro harmless against all claims, refunds, chargebacks, penalties, costs and reasonable legal expenses arising from the Organizer’s failure to hold the event as advertised, from any misrepresentation in its listing, or from any breach of these terms.
Funds collected from ticket sales are settled to the Organizer only after the event has taken place, following verification. Settlement is normally transferred within 7 to 14 business days of the event, and TicketKaro may agree a different schedule with an individual Organizer in writing.
No advance, partial or pre-event disbursement is made under any circumstances.
Funds are held by TicketKaro until settlement. They are not held in a segregated escrow account and TicketKaro does not act as an escrow agent or trustee.
TicketKaro may withhold settlement in whole or in part, for as long as reasonably necessary, where:
Withheld funds are applied first to refunds due to ticket holders. Any balance is released once the matter is resolved.
Settlement is made only to a Pakistani bank account whose title matches the Organizer, as follows:
| Individual | The individual’s CNIC name. |
| Sole proprietor | The CNIC name, or the business name shown on the FBR NTN certificate. |
| Partnership / AOP | The AOP name as registered. |
| Company | The SECP-registered company name. |
| NGO / trust / society | The registered organisation name. |
TicketKaro does not make payments to third-party accounts, and does not pay a personal account for a listing held by a registered entity. A change of payout account may delay settlement pending re-verification.
If an event is cancelled or does not take place, TicketKaro will refund ticket holders in full — the ticket price together with all platform and processing fees. Refunds are credited to the ticket holder’s TicketKaro wallet, from which the balance may be withdrawn to a bank account or used for another event.
The full refunded amount, fees included, is recovered from the Organizer’s settlement for that event. Where the Organizer’s held balance does not cover it, the Organizer shall settle the shortfall on demand.
There is no charge for listing an event or for setting up an account. TicketKaro’s commission and platform fee, and whether they are paid by the ticket buyer or absorbed by the Organizer, are confirmed with the Organizer during onboarding and are shown on the Organizer’s dashboard at all times. Payment processing charges and applicable taxes are separate.
The Organizer is responsible for obtaining all necessary legal permissions, including NOCs from the district administration, entertainment tax clearance, and police or security clearance where required. TicketKaro may pause ticket sales if proof of a required permission is not provided on request.
The Organizer remains responsible for reporting and paying all taxes due on ticket revenue under FBR and provincial law. Where TicketKaro is required by law to deduct tax at source from a settlement, it will do so and provide the corresponding record.
To prevent duplicate entry and fraud, the Organizer should scan tickets at every entry point using the TicketKaro scanner. TicketKaro is not liable for revenue loss where tickets are not checked digitally. The Organizer may require photo identification matching the ticket for high-security events.
TicketKaro may suspend ticket sales, unpublish a listing, or place an Organizer’s payouts on hold at any time where it has reasonable grounds to believe an event may not take place as advertised or that these terms have been breached. TicketKaro may suspend or close an account where it identifies fake or misleading listings, repeated substantiated complaints from buyers, or conduct in breach of Pakistani law.
TicketKaro gives the Organizer the attendee information needed to run the event — name, email, phone and check-in status. The Organizer is a data controller in its own right for that information and must:
Attendee lists exported from the platform remain subject to this clause after the event and after this agreement ends.
The Organizer is responsible for the accuracy of everything in its listing: date, time, venue, line-up, age restriction, what a ticket includes and what it does not. A material change — a different venue, a different date, a headline act that will not appear — must be notified to TicketKaro without delay, because ticket holders may be entitled to a refund.
The Organizer will not advertise a performer, sponsor or partner that has not agreed to appear, and will not use images or trademarks it does not have the right to use.
The Organizer may issue complimentary tickets and sell at the door. Tickets issued outside the platform are the Organizer’s own responsibility: they carry no TicketKaro QR code, TicketKaro takes no payment for them, holds no record of them, and cannot refund or support them.
The Organizer is responsible for crowd safety, capacity limits, security, first aid and compliance with venue and local-authority requirements. TicketKaro provides ticketing and entry software only, and does not inspect, approve or supervise any event.
Either party may end this agreement on written notice. Ending it does not affect events already on sale: those run to completion under the terms in force when they were listed, and settlement for them is made in the normal way. Clauses on indemnity, withholding, attendee data and governing law survive.
TicketKaro may update this agreement. The Organizer will be asked to accept the new version before publishing a further event or reopening ticket sales. TicketKaro keeps a copy of the exact wording accepted on each occasion, so an event is always governed by the version in force when it was listed.
